How to Crochet a Pancake

Who doesn’t love pancakes for breakfast?

I love to crochet these adorable Amigurumi Pancakes. It’s always a delight to see the finished product and it brings a smile to my face.

From start to finish this project took about 1.5 hours. If I am making multiple of these pancakes at a time, I will then do multiples of each item as once (crochet the top part of the pancake, maple syrup, butter, cheeks and save the bottom of the pancake for last, since it will need to be crocheted together with the top of the pancake). It makes it a lot easier to get all the individual items crocheted together and then I can assemble them. Crocheting items in sets also does save time, it allows me to focus on getting all the pieces I need to make the product in one sitting instead of making each finished product separate and then starting over again.

Each piece is individually crocheted. Next the pad of butter is sewn on to the maple syrup. Then the maple syrup is sewn on to the top of the pancake. Add on the sewn eyes, cheeks and mouth. Logo button is attached to the back of the pancake. Put both the top and bottom pieces of the pancakes together and crochet them together. Sew in any loose ends. Voila! a finished pancake.
